Ending Adderall Usage

Have any of you ended your usage of Adderall due to its side effects? If so, what side effects did you experience? Thanks

We did! After 3 days of my son being angry, mean, sarcastic etc

Hum. We ended 4 hour Ritalin bc of angry crazed meltdowns. Coming off of meds is hard and can make kids irritable. We find Vvyanse was smoother off...less crashing.

Previously have taken Vyvanse but when I switched insurance companies found that Cigna will not cover it. I attempted to switch to Adderal and ugh! Irritable beyond belief, feel depleted, difficulty sleeping, weird stuffy nose and throat thing going on. My son recently started 30mg of Vyanse (he is on his father's insurance now) and doing well. He does have the wear off but I allow him to play Fortnite during that time and then he goes to bed. He is 15. I think I'm going to just pay cash for the Vyanse because it was FAR better for me. Not perfect but better.
