I was recently informed about the idea that involuntary eye movements are apparently a “surefire way” to diagnose those with ADHD. Google returns a bunch of articles on the subject that appear to have originated in 2014. The theory goes that people with ADHD have little to no changes in eye movements that represent “normal” expectations to events. Ive also seen a couple, fairly critical, articles that state this claim came out of a single research paper that had some flaws in the experiment that was conducted.
It’s an interesting concept, though if they could “control my symptoms with eye therapy” I’m not even sure if I’d want that...
Curious what you guys think.
