Hello everyone... Wanted to ask if any of you have ever tried CBD oil for ADHD? I just ordered a bottle yesterday and since I've never had any luck with the traditional meds, I figure I don't have anything to lose. Besides, if it doesn't help with that, I also have RA. It is suppose to work really well for that. Anyway, just curious if anyone had firsthand knowledge on it.
CBD OIL: Hello everyone... Wanted to... - CHADD's Adult ADH...
CBD OIL
CBD is great, but there are different strains...read about the Indica strain...it is well documented this strain specifically helps people to relax with anxiety-type disorders. I prefer CBD cartridges versus oil--easy to use with vape pens.
Have you tried the cbd yet? I was looking into trying the vape, is that what you tried? I have ADD, RA, OCD, and abc, lol I just haven't found anything that I can say "works" I want to try a different direction.
Hi Leo...yes I did try it. I got the bottle with the dropper to put under the tongue. Couldn't wait for it to come and give it a try but I'm sorry to say it did nothing for the ADD. I too have RA and I can see where it might help especially during a flare up but it relaxed me and made me sleepy. I need energy and to focus. I mentioned it to my Dr. and he said I probably needed some with THC in it. Someone else messaged me about the different strains and I read up a little about it. There is Indica and Sativa and Sativa relaxes you and Indica gives energy. However, I haven't been able to find out how you tell what you're getting and nowhere on my bottle does it say either one. It's so expensive and I'm currently without a job so I haven't tried ordering anymore. It's kind of a catch 22 for me right now. If I did try it with THC, whether it works or not, I would test positive for a drug test. Since I am job hunting right now, a drug test could be in my future.
If you decide to try it, please let me know how it does for you. Good luck to you.
Wow, we must be related, I have RA to. I say I have all the acronyms, ADD, RA, OCD, RLS, lol. I am out of work to, well I have a job sort of, it's part time and I work when they need me. That has not been very consistent, and I think, wait, take that back I know it's from my ADD. My memory has gotten so bad it has affected my work, it's taking me longer than most people because I have to keep looking back at the diagram over and over again. A few of the teams I have worked with I know have asked that I don't work with them. The last time I worked with this one group, when I walked in, the just stopped and stared at me like, why are you here. I just get the feeling that I am not wanted, it's so hard to work with people when they act like that.
My memory gotten so much worse in the past 6 months or so, could be longer but I can't remember when it started to get this bad. I have locked my keys in my car 9 times now this year. Twice in the last week or so. I set something down, go to pick it up and I can't find it, and I just had it a minute ago. I lost my glasses almost 2 weeks ago and I still can't find them. The same week I lost my teeth and keys. I did find them, lol I have an appointment in August to go to the memory clinic, I can't wait to see what they have to say.
I am looking for work as well, so I need to stay drug free too. I used to smoke to help relax me and help a little with keeping focused, but I can't do that now. That is the reason I was looking into the cbd oil, but I can't do the drops, I just know I would gag on it. I'm just strange like that. I was looking to try vaping. Most cbd does not contain THC, which is why it is legal to get. If it has THC you have to like in a state that it is legal. It's just so hard to tell which brand or type you should try. They all claim to be "great!" But you know how that is, I don't have the money to sample them all.
I wish you the best of luck, if you learn anything more about cbe oit, please keep me informed. I will do the same.
