Side effects

My daughter is 13 on roaccutaine for 7 weeks her mood and personality has changed so bad she is very aggressive also her eyes are very dry has anybody experienced this.

Eyes do get really dry and I sorted it with some simple eye drops from boots. I think the mood could be a combination of things. When my skin reacted to the medication by getting worse, this would put me in a bad mood but as it cleared, I obviously became more settled with my mood. I don’t remember feeling more aggressive though. I hope it settles down.

Roaccutane has been linked to depression and aggression. My suggestion would be to lower the dose if she is taking 20 mg or more .Consult your doctor
