😜My 4 children are diagnosed with ADHD, the oldest one take venvanse, sometimes Helen seems to be impatient The doctor chances to atentah but he didn't adapt , he reported feeling discouraged and tired for almost a month. He gave up and retirando to venvanse.

My Daugher started take venvanse 15 .Sheila is smart and we have never had problems in School. But she always looks to be tired. Her neurologic test show she is high skills .

She is Very good in tennis. But she doesnt like to study .

Venvanse makes her more motivated , but i am afraid in sports..in competitions, anxiety , strong feelings becouse of medication.

Did Anyone have this experiense?

the youngest, 8 years old, had excellent results at school and in sports with venvanse, just 10mg, but he started with ticks. He is the one who gives the most work because his behavior is very difficult and he doesn't like doing schoolwork. When nervous, he becomes very nervous, screams. The doctor changed to attentah 10 ,but in two days he seemed to bedoped, sick,🧍‍♂️ discouraged and asked not to take this medication. He even had a fever, just for one period of the day. I found his discouragement so strange and I'm scared of continuing through the adaptation period.

Has anyone gone through something similar?

how difficult is manage ALL kids ,any with one sintom.

ALL them practice sports a Lot ,and this really Help me and Help them a Lot.

They play tennis every day and My 8 y swim and play tennis , and soccer too.

He is another with sports , but when hás homework he freeks out.

my daughter tried a stimulant like vyvanse and she got tics too. That’s when I insisted on getting a gene sight test to find out which medications give more side effects.

I also notice her tics still come more than a year later (though we stopped taking them), and she gets them more when she is stressed or anxious. Stimulants can have that side effect. Maybe try a constituent .aggression is also a possible side effect and stimulants can also raise anxiety. They didn’t work for me. I’m taking stratera now and I am doing a lot better. My partner had aggression while the medicine was wearing off, so he now takes a booster mid day and an anxiety med and it has gotten better. Hope this helps. Zen hugs 🫂

Booster mid is that he takes a booster medication in the middle of the day to offset the drop of the morning medication. That one is dextroamphetamine. The Citalopram didn’t make me sleepy, nor did the trintellix. For some reason the escitalopram does if I take it in the morning, so my doctor is ok if I take it at night and it does great now.

Glad I could help. Zen hugs 🫂
