welcome! My daughter is 10 and my stepkid (trans male) is 15. All 4 of us (my partner too) have ADHD and anxiety. I’m constantly overwhelmed with behaviors. You are definitely not alone. My partner and I weren’t diagnosed until our kids were and we realized their symptoms we thought were just personality traits they inherited from us.
Something that helped me was to have alone time from them. It gave me a chance to recharge batteries and not be overwhelmed as much. Although it is harder as a single parent, just a few hours to be yourself is totally worth it.
