I would suggest focusing on making sure he is getting good sleep and doesn't have an airway challenges that might be impacting quality of sleep (For example children with ADHD and anxiety often sleep with their mouth partially open which impacts quality of sleep). It's also important to make sure he is exercising regularly and eating a nutritious diet. SmartyPants Kids Complete Daily Gummy Vitamins are great since they contains fish oil and are food based and don't contain synthetic vitamins. A good individualized sensory diet may be helpful. In general activities that provide deep pressure (proprioceptive) inputs are calming so you can try a sensory squishy ball, hand squeezes, jumping, push ups, theraputty, theraband etc. Also, do you know if he has any retained primitive reflexes? He might benefit from occupational therapy with someone trained in sensory integration and primitive reflex integration. Hope this helps!
Hi, thank you for your response.Sleeping isn't a issue, diet and exercise is great. I will look into the gummy bears.

Hello,I work in schools and have seen positive success with weighted blankets and stuffed animals, etc. that give an overall proprioceptive feedback which has a comfortable and calming effect. Be careful of weighted vests or anything worn. They should be used under supervision of an OT.
