Hello everyone, my wife and I are struggling with step 3 in Barkley's 8 step program. Had anyone else struggled with this step? We are finding that our son is not entirely into any of the rewards we have given him and good behavior is often preempted with the question "how much do I get after I do this?" We were also wondering if anyone knows about a support forum specifically for this book/program.

We are struggling with the same and also noticed a decrease in compliance from step 2 to step 3. We actually started seeing some promising progress from step 2 but since we introduced rewards system this week, it has not been great. Any insight would be much appreciated.
My grandson who has the most trouble with instability and anger never could do a rewards system. He was not patient enough to wait for something. Medication and a good counselor who works on behavioral therapy was better for us.

This is the book. It takes a crazy amount of patience. And we have repeated a few weeks because we have wanted to master each week before moving onto the next
