Hi my little boy is 5 he has always been a handful but over the last few weeks his behaviour has got worse he is violent to me his dad and siblings he throws things at us and tonight threw the remote at the telly and smashed it, just as one of these episodes start he makes a loe growling sound .

At school he has none of this behaviour and they have no problem. I am so worried about him and exhausted my question is has anyone else experienced this. My husband thinks it's just bad behaviour but I think maybe he has some additional needs I'm a bit lost and don't really know what to think.Any advice is very welcome.

Have there been any changes in your normal routines lately? We've noticed those can upset our son, whether it's a change in nannies, a change in a parent's schedule (e.g. someone going on a business trip), even just changes in food.

Yes, I have 2 boys with ADHD and one of my boys definitely does not do well with change. However, I have been able to overcome that by prompting in advance what is happening and why.

My youngest grandson has always had trouble with anger and meltdown starting at age 3. We had a TV broken once too. It took years to get a combination that keeps his anger under control most of the time.

Sometimes kids can keep it together at school and then fall apart at home. Or his medication has worn off by then. Good luck getting help from your doctor.
