Adhd med and cbd

Does anyone give their child cbd oil and adhd medications. If so what are your stories? My son medication works great but he so anxious and this normally triggers his meltdowns

I also as an adult have ADHD and anxiety and use cbd rso and it helps me to sleep great. But regular cbd does nothing for me. Following to see what others say.

I assume your child is on a stimulant? Be careful as our son has major anxiety and the stimulants can heighten that even more. And CBD helps our son sleep at night but haven't seen it help with any of his behaviors at school and home.

Yeah he is that why we havnt up the dose, as they are working great for him with school, but I do think they increase his anxiety

We are on ADHD meds, anxiety meds and CBD oil. I think his anxiety medication is helping the most to be honest. What medication is he on and what are the most defined symptoms of his ADHD? Stimulants did not help my son at all, they just weren't compatible with his system.

He is on elvanse 30mg. The medication is working wonders for his schooling and We do seem an improvement on his impulsiveness when the meds are kicked in. But he suffers terrible anxiety he get really worked up about thing and is prettified if anything new and this seems to triggers his meltdowns. What anxiety meds is your child on?

My son is on Sertraline for anxiety and it has worked very well. He is on the beginning dose of 25mg. We have tried Prozac as well and it worked better for his anxiety, but the side effects were not worth it. We (and school) also lay out what we are doing (when we know...obviously you can't always know what will happen) and how it will happen. That helps a lot. I would let the doctor know you think it is increasing his anxiety at his next appointment and see what they say. Good luck!
