I just started listening to a podcast (small recordings/shows) called parenting ADH, with Penny Williams.
One thing I learned was to write a letter to teachers with your child so it is "in their voice" for the beginning of the year. So for example, it helps me best when you.... I love this idea.
I just listened to the "honeymoon phase is over", about there being a great start to the school year then is starts to not go as well.
I will be listening to the back episodes.
Hope everyone enjoys.
Here are the instructions about how to download it:
I am not sure if you have an Apple device ( if so go to the Apple app store and download a Podcast App) if you have an Android go to the "play store" and download any App ( I use both Castbox and Podcast player).
Once the App is downloaded, open it and search for
Parenting ADHD..

So excited for you to listen.. she has experts discussing so many issues we struggle with.
I am not sure if you have an Apple device ( if so go to the Apple app store and download a Podcast App) if you have an Android go to the "play store" and download any App ( I use both Castbox and Podcast player).
Once the App is downloaded, open it and search for
Parenting ADHD.. there is a red background on the photo. The host has a 10th grader and has so much to share.
Hope you are successful! So many great episodes to listen to, but I really like to one about the Honeymoon phase ( we experience this every year).
I just finished PAP 60, expects and insights.. WOW life changing.. happiness with our kids, where can we find it?
I can recommend this podcast too. (Just went back and listened to Episode 21, why "Try Harder" doesn't work.) I can also recommend the Tilt Parenting podcast. Not all of the episodes are about ADHD specifically, but many are, and many episodes give good reminders to any parent of "differently wired" kids.
