Here's a quick read: 12 strategies to beat adhd naturally (drjockers.com). There's a chart that summarizes key nutrients and why. Dr. Mark Hyman. Dr. Axe and many more you can research online.

Metabolic issues will vary from person to person, but the theme I have researched and seen positive benefits first hand are: magnesium, fish oil, bioactive B vitamins (methyl folate, B6, B12), vitamin D3, and antioxidants. Years ago, my son's lab work showed he was low in iron, zinc, vitamin D and Carnitine. We have corrected the zinc and D levels.

ProEFA fish oil or Krill oil. Thorne Vitamin D3 with K liquid. Life Solutions and Pure Encapsulations . One thing I will never be without while my son takes ADHD medication: Garden of Life Whole Food Magnesium.
