Hello!

My name is Grace Carlson, MA and I am a doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology Psy.D. program at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I am inviting you to please consider participating in my study. The purpose of my study is to examine the relationship between parental stress and childhood ADHD severity on your child’s treatment choice, specifically medication.

You are eligible to participate in this study if you are a parent of a child between the ages of 5 and 14 who has been given a formal ADHD diagnosis in the past 2 years.

This study involves four questionnaires that will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. The survey will remain completely anonymous and upon completion you may choose to be entered into a raffle to receive a $25 gift card!

If you would like to receive updates about the findings of my study please contact me by email at vgc0183@ego.thechicagoschool.edu

Thank you for working on this study. After taking the survey I feel like there was not a option to talk about when children are on medication and not on medication. For example the stress level is much higher after the medication wears off or before he takes the medication. This was not represented in the survey.

Thanks for including the group in your study.

Grace, so a child diagnosed more than 2 yrs ago but still dealing with ADHD would not qualify, correct?
