I am conducting a study where I interview ADHD individuals who have had trouble accessing their medication during the recent prescription stimulant shortage.
By examining the experiences of those impacted by the shortage, we aim to understand the extent to which this shortage impacted individuals across multiple domains of their lives. We hope this encourages further investigation into the issue and encourages policy decisions that will move forward in resolving this situation.
The interviews will take between 45 minutes to an hour. A gift card of 20 US dollars will be provided as reimbursement.
If you are interested in participating and are over 18, please message me on this account or by email.
Additionally, please get in touch with me if you have any questions or comments below.
Thank you very much and I look forward to hearing from you.

Hello UQBJohnson-This is a group that focuses on parents with children who have ADHD...
So I have a few questions:
1. Are you looking for parents who have struggled to get medications filled for their children? Or just individuals?
2. Can you explain more for the group what exactly ( or better yet provide a link) what the study is and what the outcome is for? It appears you work for the University, what is your background?
1. We are mainly looking for individuals. But, we felt hearing from parents would also yield crucial information on the impact the stimulant shortage is having. We encourage anyone to reach out to us who has been impacted in a substansive way.
2. Here is a link to the CHADD study which should contain a lot more information about what we are doing with this study. chadd.org/research-studies/...
my partner had to go without meds for several weeks, but that was more because his previous doctor and new doctor were not communicating and transferring info. He is having the same issue with his dental device for his sleep apnea. I doubt this would be helpful for your research.
