New member here, to a 12 year old son who self-diagnosed when he was 6. My husband has ADHD, so you can imagine the chaos in my house! I have a 9 year old daughter who does not have disabilities. Happy to find this place, and to find other parents going through the same struggles!

Welcome to the community! So glad you found this group. It has been helpful to me find a place where I can tell the whole truth of our situation and have others understand and support me. I hope your find that you have the very same experience!!
I have a son who is nine and has ADHD with husband as well. Also have my daughter 18 with cerebral palsy. Life is definitely chaotic for me too learning how to deal with these issues. I'm glad to have found this site let's me know I'm not alone. My son is currently on Vyvanse and school is starting today so wish me luck! My son is having issues with going back to school . I'm praying that he has a good day. My son is very negative when it comes to going to school. I'm learning how to reinforce him with positive feedback. Welcome to the group!
Hehe! My husbands garage is a mess! But I just close the door. I do give my hubby props though, cuz when he cleans the kitchen he calls it "wife clean".... which just means he won't stop until the counters are cleared off. Funny though, how things end up in the wrong cupboards. Ah... the efforts are there! I feel for the men in my life, it must be a tough way to live always having to conform to someone else's view..... school, work, friendships....
