Adhd son having trouble at school

Hi my names Erin! My son is 6 has ADHD, we choose not to medicate him. We are dealing with the condition in other ways. His public school has labeled him as the “bad” kid. It is affecting him to the point where he now feels he is a failure. I’m at a loss, i feel he is getting shamed. He might not be an angel or the perfect student. But he is a wonderful kid, I just hate how he is changing

We went through that too. It got to a point where we got a private eval and decided on the results to go and do meds. It quickly turned her around. I feel educators need more education on ADHD. Kids like ours can’t control themselves and need more positive affirmations than any other child. If you don’t have that in your 504, please add. I like CHADD.org for advice on 504 etc.... they would have to NOT pick on him and make accommodations for the behavior.

I'm going thru the same with my 7yo idk if I should take him out his school if not they will be keeping him back in kindergarten for a third year I also refused medication
