Chiropractic Care?

Has anyone taken their child or teen to a chiropractor for help with focus and mood? If so, did it help?

I tried it. I think it did help mood a little but did nothing for focus.

My kids been under chiro care since they were born. It has help them a lot with healthy bodies & not getting sick as often. Not notice a change in focus or mood.

I did and didn't do anything for mood it made him relax for a few hours that was it and guy e him a headache the next day(not sure it it was related)

Check out on your area if you can find a therapist that does Craniosacral therapy I found one in my area and he sees her once a week for 45 minutes and it seems like his tantrums and mood swings are getting far apart, my son is 9 now, and the best part is that medical insurance covers it.Also check some videos of Dr. Russell Barkley he says that the problem with kids with ADHD is not that they don't focus, is that they can not do anything with all the information that they just learned,

My husband is a chiro and our son has ADHD. So our son has been adjusted since the day he was born. I think chiropractic can help a lot with overall health but I think ADHD has more to do with neurotransmitters that aren’t functioning very well due to genetics and maybe some other environmental factors. There’s no evidence that chiropractic can actually change the levels of neurotransmitters in a controlled way which is what ADHD meds do. That’s why we give our son meds for his ADHD. Chiros are pretty against meds but my husband eventually realized that is what’s best for our son.
