Hello! I also have a six year old son who was recently diagnosed with ADHD. We started him on a medication called GuanFactine. I have already seen success with his behavior since he started taking it. He is going to try a stimulant medication in conjuction with the GuanFactine soon. This will be to help with his anger outbursts and impulsiveness. This has been a very long and hard struggle we have been dealing with since he was 2. I teared up when I first found this forum. I had no idea there were other kids and parents that were struggling the same as me and my little boy. I am happy to know that I am no longer alone and to know that there are other people that I can relate to. I already feel stronger!
