What drugs / treatments are in the pipeline to help sufferers?
How does it affect teenagers?
How does it affect adults?
How can I help my son? We don't get much advice, and that frustrates me. CAMHS are willing to listen, but don't give us many coping techniques. That is what we need most. Normal parenting courses are not helpful. We've struggled to find real advice.
My elder son is no longer hyperactive, he does however still have attention issues. What are the chances he will 'grow out' of it?
What careers are good for people with ADHD?
We need respite. We get exhausted. There is nothing available. Just a few nights a year would help.
How can we help our potential grandchildren avoid having ADHD as well? It's too late for our kids, but not the next generation.

you don't realy grow out of ADHD it sort of varies as you have and it will always be with you. To make life with ADHD more fun you could make everything that your son does more engaging and if he gets bored then take a break and then continue. As a teenager with attention difficulties i know how hard it can be and i am not as hyperactive even though I have my moments but my focus is just not there. You can't avoid getting adhd and as it is genetic it could be possible.
A great YouTube channel you should check out is howtoadhd she really brings out the best things with living with adh D
