A 6.44/km run to add to my challenge

out the door at 6.30am and what a shock to the system. 1 degree since 8 degrees on clock when went to bed last night, Decided 2 pairs of gloves on since hands the worst. Cars frosting over and slippy in some bits. Saw the horses out of stables blankets on , they’re the lucky ones kept in a stable overnight, the other ones I saw no blankets outside all the time, feel sorry for them. All pavement all the way around trading estate back up hill past the horses and around by be abbey and home. Pace wasn’t as quick as my back has been hurting as it feels like my ribs on bsck and sides and front feel like getting squeezed by a gorilla. Now sore to touch. Not sure if it is costochondritis or something to do with intercostal muscles. So taking it slower. Was glad to get back for hot shower as tips of fingers still cold. Mr D did a 5 km in shorts never knowing the temperature as he was out after me and had t decided if was going out or not. No gloves either. He was cold. That’s my 36 day in a row walk for challenge and did my 5 th 12 minutes around the block. As long as my back dosnt get worse on target.

Enjoy your day. 😊

Another great walk/run for you early today Doris8, despite the cold you should be very proud of yourself on getting that walk completed, a pity about your back feeling that it was being squeezed by a gorilla, I hope that feeling does not last long.

I know that you like to know how my Sunday morning walk goes, well this morning it was a 9K, the walk mostly off road on a trail adjacent to a small river, the weather was sunny with a temperature of +1C, very pleasant indeed although the first 3k was in a time of 37 minutes compared to 21 minutes yesterday when I RAN 3K, enjoy the rest of the day 😊.

brrrrrrr 🥶🥶🥶

Well done. 36 days in a row is awesome! Hope your back and ribs are feeling better now. They probably are more easy to relax when it’s not that cold.

Well done!

I’m glad I wasn’t up that early! 🥶

Oh it’s not fun having a dodgy back…will you see someone about it?

Well done on your walking streak 👏🏼🙌🏼💐

Thanks LottieMW. I’m not going to see anyone as severe osteoporosis and Trying to get appointment would take so long. A bit slower walking and ibuprofen gel and some strengthening exercises for back. I’ve e got a stress fracture on back already so think another one or bad strain. A bit better since Sunday so fingers crossed.
