My hubby and I enjoy walking in the countryside but, while its a bit muddy we have taken to the pavenents a bit more and have parked the car at the local Park and Ride and walked into town. We go in by the river and although we are very familiar with the town you see so much more on foot and enjoy chatting about the different houses, and things you don't notice when driving. Have a coffee, then walk out through the top of town back via the large park.

I always think water enhances a walk.

It's amazing what you miss in the car isn't it? I had to have my car MOT'D a few weeks ago. The garage was only 5 minutes away so I had to walk to collect. I cut across a park and found some amazing trails that ran along an offshoot of the river which I didn't even know existed. The pooches were ecstatic! Enjoy the rest of your Sunday (I'm up to my elbows in chick Pea flour for the forseeable)😂
