Cross hearing aids

I have a cross hearing aid which i only usually use when driving, towing a caravan, so I can hear my wife better because she sits on my deaf side. I saw somewhere a cross aid can help with balance - is that so?

Hello, Sorry I can`t answer your question but I look forward to responses to your query. A cross aid is the next step for me and I have problems with my balance. I will let you know if I find out any information. Maggi.

Sorry; no they will not. If you have vestbular exercises, do them, it helps on a day-to-day basis.

That's my experience; I've been wearing these Bi cross aids for nearly 6 months.

Cheers,

Dave

Thanks for your reply re the itching, good to know that I am not unique! I used to have cross hearing aids (connected by a tube frrom right ear to left ear)but I can't say that they helped with balance. Have long since abandoned them as not helpful as I have very little hearing in my left ear. Regards, Ann
