Having recently been diagnosed with an AN and having completely lost any hearing in my left ear it seems that I am going to be offered CROS hearing aids. It also seems that my 'surviving' ear will be fitted with a mold rather than a dome. I would be very interested to hear other people's experience of this situation.
Many thanks

I have a cros aid with a dome( don't know about the mold). The cross works well, with hearing what is around you ,road traffic and the like, but you do spend a lot of time looking round to find where the sound is coming from
I too have lost my hearing in my right ear and am going for an ENT Consultant apt on 7 March. I think they may fit me with some kinda hearing device too. I am told it will link up to the other ear somehow, but reading some information on net I dunno whether this is done with Bluetooth??
Note to earhole
I can't determine where sound is coming from either and was hoping that this might solve that problem along with the tinnitus I have. I have lost so much concentration and can't remember anything.
1st question , no it's not Bluetooth ( mine isn't) and yes tinatus is a bigger, I have had my right ear removed and still get it, my only answer is listen to music all the time.
