Hello Books8
I had Gamma Knife Surgery at Leeds, England, in 2018. I found it quite traumatic and felt shaky and vulnerable for some time afterwards. I had headaches, some facial numbness and slept very poorly for about six months. However, my first MRI after surgery, which I had had to chase up myself, reassured me and the letter I finally received said my tumour had not grown in the preceeding 16 months.
Now 12 months on my headaches, facial numbnes and the shaky and vulnerable feelings havemostly gone. I still have deafness and tinnitus in one ear; suffer from vertigo and balance problems some days; and very occassionally have overwhelming fatigue.
Stay safe and well,
Tabby
