Morning everyone, so I am still waiting for my mri goodness knows how long thats going to take, the hearing aid seems to be helping abit but as someone who does a lot of public speaking feedback from a microphone is a nightmare! This sounds like a really odd question, but lately my head feels to heavy for my neck?? Not sure if that makes any sense but wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this? TIA

If you are also experiencing balance problems the "heaviness" may be caused by your cerebellum trying to figure out your balance while getting false information from the affected inner ear. This can also cause headaches in the back of your head. If this is the case, the following exercises may help. Go to the following link, read the PDF and watch the video:

Others have received relief pre-surgery as noted below:
“My AN is similar in size to yours and I had Cyberknife two weeks ago. Too early to say whether it made a difference to my dizziness (although I was told not to expect much change). But your exercises made a massive difference pre-surgery. My specialist also said to do as much exercise as possible, particularly anything involving hand eye coordination such as racket sports. I’m a cyclist and a runner so have continued both but am completely convinced that it is these exercises that have made the difference.”
