Glad you told me that, it confused me. I am a good speller BUT not a good typist. Are things any better?
I still have some hearing on my AN side, following Gamma Knife treatment four years ago, but if I forget & place the receiver on that side, the sound is very distorted & does sound like a Dalek. My consultant advised a second hearing aid because he said that what hearing remained could become distorted.
I remember another BANA member who had to have surgery when her AN continued to grow following Gamma Knife. She felt that losing her hearing completely on the AN side had made her hearing clearer than having hearing both sides, but distorted in one ear.
