hi I`ve been an unpaid carer for my mum dad and two aunties it`s a difficult task have you looked into getting help.
I can relate from the opposite viewpoint. My son is my carer.
I would prefer he got a 'proper' Job (I'm not belittling you), I know that if he did get a job and was out of the house when I fell or something, both he and I would feel guilty, but I feel he should be able to be independent of my needs, not tied to me. He needs a life.
I used to be a nurse, so I'm unused to not being the carer, and it bugs me beyond belief! I still have most of my marbles, but my body is letting me down. I am 76.
Cheers, Midori
