Will my T get worse if I continue to use earphones or headphones? Anyone with an experience to that?

Some people advise against them, audiologists I've spoken to don't have any problem with them per se. The important point if you're going to continue using them is keep the volume well below any sort of dangerous level. If you can avoid it, to my mind it's better to be safe than sorry.

I still use them because I watch video on the iPad. I do keep it as low as possible. It’s probably making T worse but not as troublesome as moderate sound from a speaker. It seems as though any sound can trigger a spike or hyperacusis. Prolonged noise is a different threat than unsustained loud noises.

I’d keep it on low.
