Mirena issues?

Has anyone had weird discharge a few weeks after insertion of the device? Symptoms like morning sickness?

Hiya, yeah, you will definitely expect to get some bleeding and annoying discharge in the first 6 weeks or so. I got mine at the start of November, and this has just begun to clear up for me. I would definitely give it at least 3 months to allow side effects to settle and (hopefully) subside.

As for 'morning sickness' I only ever had this present itself as the worst nausea imaginable, so no, I've not had anything like that - but maybe a little mild nausea and a definite increase in appetite. Again, going into my 3rd month this is starting to subside altogether. Hope this helps!

No probs - they really should have told you to expect a lot of messiness in the first couple of months though as this is absolutely normal.

Did you also have a constant feeling of bloated ness?

Not a constant one, but I definitely noticed some bloating early on. It hasn't bothered me recently so I think it must have improved...
