I'm afraid I don't know a lot about ZMA. If you eat a healthy diet while lifting weights, aim for 0.8 grams of protein per pound of your weight (so your weight in lbs x 0.8) and ensure that you have at least 30 grams of that in a single meal, you'll be fine without supplements.
