Are there any NHS centres that you can go to like weight watchers? If so where can you find them?

A few people have mentioned that their nurse holds a weight loss clinic. It might be worth asking at your local health centre what they offer. Not exactly like weight watchers but it is a regular weigh, measure and advice service by the sounds of it.

If you are looking for the support and people like you aspect, then you are in the right place!

Everybody here has gone wrong somewhere and is now over weight and wants to do something about it. We're mostly following the NHS choices plan: nhs.uk/Livewell/weight-loss...

And there's lots of different people on here, older, younger and in between, with wildly varying amounts of weight to lose, different lifestyles.

You could also check whether the NHS in your area offers weight watchers on a referral scheme.
