Good morning, Geoff021 and welcome back - I see you were here a long time ago :)

We're all likely to gain weight during any festival season. If you're part of a family or a friendship group, It's not realistic to avoid all social gatherings where food is involved. Have a think about what steps you could take e.g. not eating between meals, which foods it would be best to avoid and which you can fill up on. And remember, it's not annual occasions like Pesach that do the damage, it's what you do the other 51 weeks of the year.

You would be very welcome to join in with forum activities including the weekly weigh in, daily diary and fit is fun. You'll find them all by following this link healthunlocked.com/weight-l... We've found that active participation is a good route to success

Onwards and downwards :)

Thank you for the Pesach advice but considering avoiding eating any food then between the fitness work outs.

Will that be a realistic plan?

Make sure the meals you have have sufficient protein and healthy fats to keep you feeling full

Well, it's a perfect time to try out a keto diet, right? Cutting out all starch is easy during passover. Just pass on the potatoes, take a teeny-tiny nibble of matzoh ONCE just for the ritual of it, and nothing but berries for dessert. Eat green vegetables, eggs and meat, period.

Breakfast: fried eggs in lots of butter and heavy cream in your coffee. It's like the holiday was made for keto :o)
