Small Personal Win

I've always struggled with eating more breakfast than I need to. I usually eat an avocado with some low salt crackers, and sometimes (more than I would like) I end up eating 2 cados and twice as many crackers, and then I'm hungry like 30 minutes later. I've always heard that protien keeps you full so I finally decided to suck it up and I added a scrambled egg for breakfast. Just a single, smallish one. And I felt so full! And now, a couple hours later I'm still feeling full.

Also, it was nice to take a moment and cook something for myself. I usually cook dinner for myself and my husband, and then most of what I eat in a day are very simple foods that don't need more than a plate or a microwave. I think this will be my new morning ritual :)

Have a great day everyone!

It's always worth trying something different, and protein definitely keeps you fuller for longer

Do you want to log your meal plans for tomorrow on the daily diary?

I should. I did it yesterday and I feel like it helped me today.

Get into the routine, just 15 minutes a day. You’ll soon get to know people and you’ll find lots of support

The reson that you feel hungry 30 mins after eating breakkfast is because you ate crackers. Crackers re highly processed starch which is easily metabolised by the body and becomes glucose (blood sugar). This blood sugar induces a release of the hunger hormone ghrelin, which gives you hunger pangs. The answer is not to eat crackers, toast os a breakfast cereal for breakfast.
