I'm really looking forward to breakfast in the morning πŸ˜ƒ

We tried these a few mornings ago and they were a bit gloopy so I've increased the amount of milk and hopefully, they'll be a perfect go-to in the morning 😊

Look very nice. I love my overnight oats and make them with yoghurt. I had to try them s few times before I got them how I liked. Hope they are good πŸ˜€

Do you find the yoghurt makes for a better consistency? I love milk, I'm not sure if I'd be able to stomach yoghurt on a regular basis.

I prefer the milk, just experimenting with the consistency at the moment. Thanks 😊

I've only had it the once, yesterday actually. I had it with chopped up berries also, and I thought it was lovely, and, quite filling πŸ˜‹

Not sure what the solution to that would be πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ I'm fortunate in the sense that I'm very sensitive to food, so although it's not pleasant getting painful bloating and never being able to completely hold a meal down, I have to be careful about what and how much I eat to remedy it.

Hi MTM,

Are you on the healthy eating plan? (If you don't mind me asking)

I'm new to all of this, but I am dipping my toes in to healthy eating, and, LCHF......and,

One cup of rolled oats = 55g of carbs...I wonder if the oats could be replaced with Flaxseed? (for a low carb version...or maybe these seeds mixed into Greek yoghurt, and left in the fridge over night).

But if you're not following LCHF...these carb grammes won't apply to you....so, enjoy! It looks like a gorgeous breakfast! πŸ˜‹

Hiya ☺️

Thanks.

I'm on a healthy eating diet leaning towards a Mediterranean style diet (mainly plant based non-processed foods, fish and a little bit of meat), lighter snacking and 2 light days a week (I'm hoping to make these fasting days eventually).

I have no idea how you could substitute oats - there's a keto guy on youtube called Joe Duff who does lots of low carbs alternatives that you may find helpful, he might have something on his channel, or you should find something searching low carb overnight oats.

Was it you who mentioned Chia seeds before?

From what I have seen, they are low carb...I need to buy some. I will mix them with flax and yoghurt, and berry's...I could just eat that now, so time for bed lol

No, I'm new to chia seeds, I think they're quite high in protein and fiber.

I need to get an early night too. Rest well 😊
