I’m doing really well with food and alcohol, next thing to tackle is the compulsion to ritually weigh myself every morning.

That's not necessarily a bad thing, Maurpc, unless you find it so. There are many people that weigh themselves daily, even after reaching their maintenance weight. It's that which keeps them on track.

If it's something you really want to do, then give your scales to a friend/neighbour/partner for safe-keeping, only to be returned to you weekly, for your weigh-in :)

Just seems a bit obsessive, thanks for the tip

It's not necessarily a bad thing, just as long as you remember weight fluctuates from day to day 😊 as long as the trend is downwards, try not to be ruled by what the scales say 😊

Hi Maurice, I weigh myself every morning after my shower, I find this especially helpful after the weekend - I weigh in on a Friday and Saturday is my 'eat more calories' day. It just helps to keep me on track. Each to their own :)

Well done for doing so well with the food and alcohol, far more important than the scales :)
