For tomorrow I have a bit of tofu and salad. For the rest of the week, I haven't made firm plans but I could make some porridge, I could do some vegan chilli, or I can add some veggie bouillon and mix in some veggies. I do believe it's got a high protein content amongst other goodies so it doesn't need much added to it for a good filling meal.
Peter Griffin says he won't eat anything that sounds like karate words and my first attempt didn't leave me enamoured with it but I've still got some in the cupboard so will give it another go... maybe this week.
Batch cooking always makes things easier.... enjoy!
The first time I did it, I was recommended to add lemon to it. Which to me was just nasty. I didn't have any for quite a few years. I recently decided to give it another go because I really wanted another gluten free option that wasn't rice or potatoes. I looked at a few you tube videos and found one that recommends roasting in the pan before boiling and that has really made a much tastier difference. Because it's bland it takes flavours really well and as I like it savoury, those are the flavours I'm going for.
