Morning going to give nhs healthy living a go lost 6 stone last year and have put 3 back on went on a fantastic cruise an the wheel fell off haven't stopped eating since giving myself one excuse after another so new start here I come hope this message is ok first time ever doing something like this bit of a technophobe

I've lost 19lbs in 21 weeks. I'm aiming for 4 stone, though 3 stone will just about get me into a healthy BMI (I think! I'll check again when I get nearer ). I try to avoid setting time scales and just try to keep heading downwards and eating healthily.
I'm following the NHS plan and learning as I go along. I've followed a lot of advice on here and have really cut down on carbs and increased natural fats. I aim for the middle of my calorie range, currently around 1600 cals. I enjoy my food and don't let myself feel deprived e.g. I'm in a community choir and we have a cake stall each week to raise funds; there are some fantastic cooks (not me) so I allow space for a fabulous cake on Tuesday evenings.
