Husband onboard ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

Coming to the end of 2 weeks off work and I so don't want to go back.

An update to those who saw my post on last weeks Sunday weigh in, my grandad is still in hospital. He has Parkinson's and had a fall almost 3 weeks ago and hasn't eaten since, diagnosed with a chest infection and pneumonia but they're getting antibiotics in him via and drip as well as food as he's nil by mouth and weight plummeted to 6st 9lbs so we're taking it day by day but he's making progress.

Anyway back to my diet. I'm currently doing a diploma on nutrition and I'm learning so much about the benefits foods have, things I already knew but feel like I'm paying more attention now so it's making it easier to make the right choices.

And drumroll ๐Ÿฅ the hubby is onboard with eating healthier ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป since his ME diagnosis he put on about a stone and a half putting him in an overweight category for the first time in his life. Since his disability means he can't exercise, he knows his weight loss will be purely dietary so in turn will make my journey that little bit easier ๐Ÿ˜Š

Sorry to hear about your Grandad, they are special people.

Well done for getting your husband on board and finding out more about nutrition.

Hi mrsdavis86

Sorry to hear your grandad is still in hospital, hope the medication help him to start to improve.

Great that your hubby on is board now too. I think it is easier when you have someone with you to support each other along the way.

It's definitely easier with him onboard, though trying to explain about calories and such was a task ๐Ÿ˜‚

You are doing a lot at the moment, don't forget yourself in all this. ๐Ÿ’ฎ๐Ÿ’ฎ

Glad grandad is picking up a little, sounds as though the care is good.

Wish I could get my hubby on board, only just got him to admit that even though he's on statins it doesn't mean he can still be a cheese monster !
