Thank you to Claz for posting my weight for me yesterday and to all of the kind people who have sent me messages.
On Friday night I had what I feared was a heart attack. I wouldn't let my husband call an ambulance so he took me in the car. I was put in resus unit and out on a drip and oxygen. It was proper scary.
They have me lots of scans and I don't have a heart problem, they don't know what was causing the pain but the pain killers in the drip got rid of it.
They eventually let me out late yesterday and now I am fine.
I was so glad when I was in hospital that I have lost a good chunk of weight but it has shown me that I need to carry on. We will all need the NHS at some point and I would prefer to be slimmer next time. I don't want people to think I am here because obesity caused a problem.
Good luck everyone and well done to the Saturday weighin group - sorry I didn't read or reply to your progress. I am just doing this post and then having a day offline today. Back to work tomorrow!
This forum is great and we all need to continue to support each other. Who needs to pay for WW or SW? XxπΈ

So sorry to hear you had that experience, scary indeed, but glad to hear your heart is ok. That must have been a relief to hear. Wishing you all the best, and keep going with the healthy lifestyle! xx
So sorry to hear about your awful experience EllaMidlands. In truth I had one of those experiences before Christmas and was in for 11days, still off work. However, the silver lining in the cloud was that I took it as my health warning and now I am sticking to healthy eating as a lifestyle choice, for life.
So please you are feeling better and the pain has gone. Your husband must have been so worried.
How frightening that must have been. Take care. Sending hugs xx
What a scare you have had - Glad you are home and feeling better - rest and take it easy and try not to do too much at work tomorrow or even take the day off if you can to give you a bit more recovery / rest time
Poor you, Ella, that must have been an absolute nightmare!
It sounds to me as if you're needing to take your foot off the accelerator for a bit and get some much needed R & R. We value your presence on the forum, but we value you more
Take very good care of yourself and we'll see you when you're feeling better xx
Pleased to hear your ok take it easy and hope your feeling better soon
It is such a shame that you have had to experience this sort of thing at all, your husband must have been so scared. Sending you both lots of hugs for this. I know how much I would have panicked if it was my husband. He panics every time I end up in hospital through one of my seizures with my epilepsy. Glad their is no problems that have come of this and good luck to you for the future. ππΎππ€ππ
Hi Ellamidlands sorry you had to go through that, I had a similar experience in Dec 2015 and it turnned up to have been caused by lots of stress/anxiety resulting in horrible palpitations and pannic attacks...If you suspect this might have been your case I am happy to share a bit more of my experience in case this could help you, hope you feel better soon and I am sure your efforts to have a healthier diet will definitely help. Take care.
sorry about what happened its funny how the most unexpected things can motivate us to stick to our goals
Oh EllaMidlands , what a fright you and your husband must have gotten. Glad you are okay now and hope you can get to the bottom of it. Please make sure you take very good care of yourself x
