Has anyone else got or want a Hydracoach?

Last year I saw an episode of The Gadget Show and they reviewed a Hydracoach water bottle.

Basically, based on your weight, it works out and measures how much water you should and do drink each day.

One of my aims for this year is to drink more water and I love a gadget, so have invested in one.

On amazon, they retail at about £25, but Tesco direct have them on offer at £10 and I've got a purple one 💜

Just wondered if anyone else has used one? I know drinking water is thought to help with weight loss - I think you lose the weight by running to the toilet every 10 mins 😂

On a whim, I have also bought a weighted hulahoop to try and get a waist only to discover, I really can't hula hoop!! Any tips on that gracefully received!!! 😠😂😉

That's an interesting gadget I'll check it out.

My current low tech approach is to drink enough water that my urine is clear - you are right there is a lot of toilet trips :)

Hi, to be honest, I am something of a "water sceptic" - our bodies have an excellent built in mechanism for telling us how much we need to drink. It's called being thirsty - and it has been given us for free!

In a healthy person, drinking more than you need just means going to the loo more often.

I think there is a lot of guff and gubbins spoken about how much water we need to take in, and an attempt to make it more complicated than it actually is, in an effort to sell products. Still, it creates employment in the water bottle industry I suppose!

On the other hand, I think your hulahoop purchase sounds great! I think there is a knack to it and it needs quite a bit of practice to be able to hula for prolonged periods. But bending down to pick the thing up will exercise your thigh muscles!
