Second Christmas outing for a meal this week. Chose fishcake starter, duck main course, and ........wait for it ......... NO pudding!how good was that? And do you know, I didn't miss it at all. I was full and found I didn't need it (not that that would stop me before!)

And another one!
well done you for not having a pudding and for having another meal out and being good x

Well done!!! You must feel really proud - not having a pud is hard! Do you have any more meals out? I've got our work party but it's nota meal just nibbles. I'm planning to avoid the food table ! Good luck for the weekend
Well JiminyCricket, as a matter of fact I do. This afternoon is a posh "afternoon tea" with prosecco included, and I assume the usual delicate little sandwiches and pastries. Apologies in advance to everyone, but I cannot go along to this event and not eat the pastries! So I shall try to eat moderately but enjoy myself in good company. The rest of the day, I shall try and keep very low cal. Had boiled egg and small piece of toast for breakfast and plan to have some homemade broccoli soup for lunch. If I get hungry again later this evening, I shall try and stick to a piece of fruit. I can do it!! I'm in the zone, as they say!
You've got the nail on the head, I've lost count of the number of times I used to have dessert when I was already full to bursting 😕
Well done on your new habits and remaining in control.
Have a good weekend 😊
Well done!
Thanks for your comments and support everyone. 😊
