I have fallen off the healthy bus and slipped straight back into the old routine, I am so fed up with myself, I was loving the healthy food, the gym and the confidence I gained, now I've gained the lbs again and the feel good factor has gone. Hamster on a wheel !!!! Needing a kick up the bum !!!!

Bad foods bad habits
Don't give up Jojocoops, it is human to err right? We all mess up and fall back into bad habits at times. It won't be helpful to beat yourself up, but it will be helpful to remember where you came from and do the old stuff you did before. All the confident and "feel good" will come back, if only you'll work for it, again. I believe in you!
All back on board the healthy bus.... you just popped off for a little rest to check that you were going in the right direction and now you know that you were - so you can climb back on board....
Sometimes a little slip is good as it makes you more determined! You can definitely do it.... x
Have a look at this Jojocoops and stop beating yourself up!
Don’t worry about it, Jojo.
Once you start exercising again, particularly spinning, it’ll help elevate confidence levels back to where they were a few weeks ago. Moreover, spinning will help to ensure that calories are burned both during and after your workout, since the activity exercises the body’s anaerobic pathway at certain points (research EPOC to understand more).
As such, exercising regularly once more should hopefully encourage the re-adoption of healthy eating habits, allowing the feel good factor to return.
Don’t become worried that you may have lost the fitness gained before your minor side-step, since it takes a number of weeks or even months of relative inactivity for fitness gains to reverse themselves.
Granted, the first occasion you step back in the gym, you may need to drop exercise intensity slightly, but you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how quickly both aerobic and anaerobic capacity will return to their former level.
You can do it. You know you can (and so do we).
Glad to hear that you're back on track, Jojo.
Since you've quickly come to enjoy spinning classes, rather than organising their occurrence around your life, if possible, try to organise day-to-day activities and errands around the classes. In doing so, you'll be more likely to ensure they continue to be undertaken. However, by sitting down each Sunday and organising your time and meals for the coming week, I'm sure there'll be no more side-stepping or backpedalling (except in the gym).
