You did really well to cook from your left-overs and come up with such a lovely meal as this - it looks really great, and nutritious and filling. Beautiful plate with swirly edges too - makes it look really appetising. Glad Mr T enjoyed it too.
I've already spied your delicious scones with fresh cream and strawberry jam too, but I'll pop back and have another look - they look so scrummy.
Oh thanks Lowcal 😉 I like to blend my soups down but Mr T wanted it rustic.
I have a soup maker which now the cold weather is coming I will have to retrieve from the back of the cupboard.
If you've never used one they are great. Put all ingredients in set the timer 20 min's set either smooth or rustic then you have time for a shower (if you want) and all cooked piping hot when you come downstairs.
The scone was only the second treat this week and you have to trial your baking dont you.
The other treat was a mini Snickers earlier in the week.
