It's been a while since I posted, but I'd like to offer some encouragement to all newbies. Stick with the plan at it will work. I lost 1 stone in 2 months at the end of last year. I've had 3 months off, as this is the most indulgent time of the year for me with Christmas, New Year, Valentine Day, Easter, birthdays and the all-important ski season.
So time to get back on the scales - and I've gained 2 pounds since my last weigh-in in mid December. I am so happy with that result! I've not counted calories, I've enjoyed treats and tipples, but I think following the plan for the 2 months prior to this has given me the knowledge of when to rein in the excesses and get back on track.
I now have my final 8lbs to lose, and have dedicated April to being a booze free month to help me achieve my goal. I went 'dry' in October and November and it made a dramatic difference in my weight loss journey. Now I need to get back down the gym!
Good luck to everyone out there, some weeks will be more challenging than others, but the results are so worth the effort.
