Thanks , was not sure if I had posted properly. Walking with a pedometer a great help. My problem has been inactivity, I did walk most days ( to get the paper) checking the pedometer this was not enough activity , so a great challenge to up my steps. 13,000 one day. Next day not even a third of that. But our weather has not been great , snow, rain and sleet. Eating fruit and veg every day, and also have stopped taking medication for depression ( on it 15 yrs) . I feel sure sure this contributed to my weight gain. Not plain sailing emotionally but got to do this for myself . One holiday photo and my self esteem was zilch. Roll on the next ten weeks.

I hope you didn't go cold turkey on the anti-depressants, you need to wean yourself off them gradually, or you can crash.

The majority of weight loss journeys are about far more than weight loss, most of us have a heap of emotional baggage that we're trying to offload as well :)

If you need motivation for your steps, join us on out trip Around the World in 80 days, it's all about encouraging you to get off your couch on the days you just can't be bothered :)
