Don't we all! Have you had a look at the NHS 12 week plan? I'm about to start my fifth week and I've lost 5.7 kg. I've also been following the NHS couch to 5k programme. The people on this website have been a great support to me and they will be to you to.

Hello Mrs A Davies, welcome to this forum where we all need to lose weight. As linggirl has already suggested; the NHS 12 week plan may be something you could look at and follow. I'm just starting week 9 and having tried so many other diets previously I can safely say this is by far the easiest and best system I have tried. I hope you find a method to help you.
I have looked at the NHS 12 week plan but the exercise bit is not for me. I have limited
Mobility.
I may start the eating plan and see how it goes
I have just completed one week and lost 2lbs.
Sometimes feel so stupid pigging out and regretting it.I have arthritis and loosing weight would help so much
Hi all,
I am starting on my first week of the 12 week plan today. Fingers crossed that I can stick to it; must find my will power somewhere.
I too have arthritis and have checked with my rheumy nurse the best type of exercise and she recommends pilates for strengthening, swimming and walking for aerobic etc. I am also a member of the NRAS site on here and there is lots of good advice on there. It was recommended by my consultant that loosing some weight will reduce the strain on the joints.

I wish people would not leave Chocolate in my dining room. I ate 5 large chocolates last nigh.
Any chocolates found in future go in the bin.
