Perhaps you are eating too many calories, or too many carbs? Different things work for different people.

Hi,

have a look at something like myfitnesspal, it's really useful for accurately recording calories as some foods and drinks are quite shockingly high and even when you think you are being careful you can go over your allowance very easily. My fitnesspal and the nhs site will both work out your bmi and recommend calorie intake to lose weight, not sure you need to send off your details or swap breakfast for a shake!

Keep a really accurate food diary for a week or 2 ( im having wine while watching the football tonight + I've forgotten how many cals are in a glass, 100, 150? Its scary how it adds up!) Weighing ingredients and watching portion sizes is also really important. If I made sweet and sour chicken without looking at the nhs site recipe I would probably use 3 times the amount of rice.

if you consume less energy than you use you should start to see some results x

If you are moving more and eating less you should see a result the first week, if only a little. Perhaps you need to check your portion control, you'd be surprised at how much you are eating if you aren't weighnig your food and keep a food diary for a couple of weeks and see if there is any pattern to the amount and type of food you are eating.

Have you lost any inches? Sometimes, you put on muscle to replace the fat, especially if you've been exercising more.
