It's back!!

Just thought I'd mention that apparently yet another series of "Secret Eater" starts this evening on Channel 4.

O.K., for sure, the format is probably a bit old hat by now.

However, it does highlight a recurring problem that many people have with weight loss, that is, you need to count ALL the food and drink you eat, not just the nice sounding parts, or the easy to remember bits.

Oh so often when people claim they're eating XYZ kcals a day - they're just quite simply are eating more than that, and sometimes a lot more. It is just so easy to do.

In fact, most people who keep a food diary, under-record the food they eat.

So, as I keep saying, you have to count E V E R Y T H I N G! (Whether it's in a food diary or an app)

As the old saying goes, the devil is in the detail - and in this game the detail can often make the difference.

Good luck with your weight loss journeys.

Thank you Doikosp,

I only joined yesterday - so starting on this journey anew. OK - it's the latest of many other weight loss/health improvement journeys!

I'm a great fan of Secret Eater, so I'm hoping that the new series starting tonight will further empower me as I work to lose 3 stone.

Good luck to us all!

Hi Yinxfed,

One thing I do agree with - that they say often on that programme - is that if you want to lose the weight, you need to know how you put it on!

Good luck with your weight loss journey.
