Hi, everyone. For some reason, I keep throwing up when I run faster than an easy recovery run. Regular-paced long runs and hard workouts make me really nauseous. This started about a month ago with extreme fatigue while running, which has turned into nausea/dry-heaving/vomiting. I've been vegan for almost a year now, but I wonder if there's something I'm not doing right. I take a B-12 supplement; I try to eat healthy foods; I generally get quite a bit of protein. What's even weirder is, when I was vegetarian, this happened to me but only in the morning. When I would run in the afternoon, I'd be fine. Now, when I take my afternoon runs, this happens (haven't tried morning in awhile; I'd be curious to see how that would go). Any idea what might be missing from my diet that could be contributing to this?

It could be caused by eating too soon before running or being dehydrated or even just plain old over doing it.
That’s just my personal opinion as I don’t run (unless I was being chased by a lion).
I’m certain it’s nothing to do with being vegan. Sorry I can’t be of more help!
