I made this tonight. Was so easy to make the batter

1 cup Flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 cup milk. I used oat

1/2 cup water

Pinch of salt

I had some seaweed so put that on the tofu before deep frying it.

I dont have a fryer so I did it in a milk pan πŸ˜‚

I Cooked the chips in the oven.

It was really easy. I did battered mushrooms as well. Probably not the healthiest meal but nice for a change πŸ™‚

It looks really good. What type of tofu did you use ? - still don't really understand the different types. I know I used the 'wrong' type for scrambled egg but it worked out fine!

Hi Bramleyb. I just used the Couldron normal one but you are supposed to use firm. I always just adapt recipes depending on what I’ve got in my fridge. As long as it’s not silken lol that really wouldn’t work.

(I used about half a block between 2 of us. You wouldn’t want much more than that).

Also the mushrooms were easy and tasty too 😊
